I only spent the night passing through once, but drove through the area travelling south. I wanted to spend more time there, but was on what turned out to be a fruitless job search in the Phoenix area.
This is a little known and little visited area. I have long wanted to find out more about it. Worth a visit.

I've been trying to get to Dark Canyon for three days, but things haven't been working out here at home. It's funny you should mention it.
